This intimate workshop also includes Somatic Art coaching, with gentle body-awareness exercises and guided prompts designed to help you reconnect with your inner child and translate felt emotion into textured surfaces. In this one-on-one somatic art session, texture becomes a language for self-awareness. You will explore mindful art-making through layering, scraping, stamping, and intentional gestures while noticing breath rhythms, body sensations, muscle tension, emotional qualities, and creative impulses. The result is a living canvas that holds feeling, insight, movement, and personal meaning.
During the session, you will be guided through gentle somatic practices to bring attention into the body and away from rumination. Sensory exercises will help you tune into touch, weight, temperature, and pressure, allowing texture to become an expressive material for emotional exploration.

Joint compound (please check the checklist below for reference, depending on which country you are from)
Canvas / MDF board (any size can be as long as you can test on the area)
Baking piping bag or ziplock bag
Painting brush
Sharp palette knife
Round palette knife
Before the Session
Once you sign up, you’ll receive a preparation list of tools and materials, in case you wish to practice along in real time.
The session will be primed using easy-clean construction paint, so you can safely work on your own wall or a practice board.

The FELT series
The FELT series is Arkateori’s signature collection: cloth in appearance, sculpted as three-dimensional artworks, yet crafted from metal wire and plaster. Conceived by Catherine and Sean in memory of their late mother, a lifelong tailor. Each piece honors the intimate craft of garment-making while transforming it into something sacred and architectural.
Loud but quietly luxurious, FELT plays with tension and restraint. Twists and folds capture the gestures of sewing and draping, preserving motion and emotion in rigid materials. The surfaces read soft from a distance; up close, the metallic weave and plastered finish reveal the labor, structure, and resilience beneath.
Every sculpture is intentional, designed to create a pause in a space. These works invite reflection: of lineage, of touch, of the everyday rituals that shape a life. FELT toggles between memory and materiality, offering objects that both command attention and cultivate stillness, a tribute to a tailor’s hands, translated into enduring form.
